Ferdinand Stransky, Austrian (1904 - 1981) Oil on masonite "Couple At The Fair". Founder of artists known as "The Circle" and a member of the Secession. Sponsored by leading art historians such as Otto Benesch, Stransky was at the biennials in Sao Paulo (1957), brochure included and Tokyo (1963) to participate and received the 1962 Prize of the City of Vienna for the Fine Arts. Signed lower left and dated '60. Good condition. Measures 16" x 16", frame measures 22-3/4" x 22-3/4". Shipping $185.00 (estimate $2000-$4000)
