19th Century Czech Violin in the Style of Gasparo Duiffopruggar (1514 – c. 1570). Carved and Marquetry inlaid case with figural head and Mother of Pearl Inlay. Bow has mother of pearl inlay along with an inset shell motif. Inscribed on the interior. Case to accompany the lot. Violin measures 24-1/2" x 8-1/8". Case measures 5-3/4" x 31" x 9-1/2".
