Japanese Satsuma Incense Burner

Japanese Satsuma Four (4) Sided Incense Burner, Attributed to Yu Bu Meizan. Painted in polychrome enamels and gold gilt with two (2) sides depicting a small gathering of people with Mount Fuji in the background and two (2) other sides painted with a great procession. Supported on four (4) small scrolled feet and with a lattice top cover. Meiji period, 1868-1912. Measures: 5-3/4" H, 5-3/4" W, 5" D.
