Victorian Brass Inlaid Writing Box with Lock. Rosewood and Amboyna writing box having brass borders on the lid and front, fitted with compartments for various requisites and two original bottles with cut glass stoppers. The tray lifts out and the leather liner drops to reveal where a mirror once was. Fitted with a Bramah lock. Circa 1880. Measures: 5" H, 12" W, 8" D.
