Early 20th Century WWI French Cavalry Cuirassier Steel and Brass Helmet. Top brass comb with horsehair and figural Medusa mask. Flaming bomb with foliate decoration front plate, solid lobster tail rear. Helmet base outlined in brass. Overall measures 10" h. x 11 3/8" x 7 1/4". Fitted on a base bass. Condition: Overall condition is good for a battle field souvenir with chin strap and liner, wear to both. Rubbing, minor dings and dents. Needs cleaning, very dusty.
