Fine Russian Cloisonne Enamel Silver Gilt Egg on Stand. Polychrome enamel floral and geometric design with swan in a brilliant sun in the center front and back. Richly detailed throughout with raised relief flowers, cabochon garnet accented clasp, opening to gilt interior with finely carved crystal swan with garnet eyes. Mark of Maria Semenova, 1894, Russian imperial warrant mark and 84 silver standard mark. Measures 7-1/8" H, 3-5/8" W (at base). Approx. weight: 601.35 grams.
