Baishun Satsuma Japanese Ceramic Finely Painted Jar with Bright Painted Enamels and Heavy Gold Gilt. Meiji period (1868-1912). Decorated with a design of immortals at play of the Deities in the Land of the Wonders. Maker's mark written in gold on a black background and translates to "Made by Baishun." Similar to a piece in the Collection of Portland Art Museum with the same mark with columns written reverse. Measures: 6-1/2" H, 6-1/4" Dia. Condition: Good condtion.
