An important Antique Italian 19th/20th Century 14 Karat Yellow Gold and Micro-mosiac Choker Necklace. Makers stamp to the back. Consisting of thirteen (13) graduating oval shaped micro-mosaic scenes of ancient Roman archaeological scenes, including the Coliseum, St. Peters Square, Pantheon, Roman Forum as well as several other ancient scenes, all plaques set with-in blue glass backs and gold frames presented with a latter presentation box. Length measures: 13-3/4" long, Largest oval measures: 1" high, 1-1/8" wide, smallest oval measures: 5/8" high, 3/4" wide. Approx. gross weight: 57.82 grams.
