The 1965 C2's benefitted from a number of factory-equipped standard options such as 4-wheel disc brakes, three functional vents in the front fenders, interior and exterior refreshments in black, leather seating, a power antenna, and power windows. The C2 generation also offered customers a vast assortment of factory-equipped optional extras, some of which had never been seen before, or since. This 1965 Corvette Stingray, as confirmed by its original ordering document, cost $4953.95 and was originally equipped with: - 2450AA White & Blue Trim - 2M20AA 4 Speed Transmission - 2900FF Nassau Blue - 2A02AA Tinted Windshield - 2U69AD PB AM/FM Radio - 2P92AA 775x15 4 Ply WSW - 2G81CA Positract Axle 336R - 2L75AA 300 HP V8 Engine Stamped VIN #194375S106437, this Corvette was finally assembled in St. Louis, Missouri and delivered to Empire Chevy Sales Corporation in Brooklyn, New York. This original document, including the card for the original salesman is included with this sale. Since its original delivery in February on 1965, this Corvette covered merely 24,000 miles in the hand of its original owner before being put into storage in 1971 for the following 26 years! This is evidenced by the ownership documentation included with this lot, as well as a state inspection sticker from New York, dated in 1971, still present on the windshield. Since being taken out of storage by its second and current owner, this Corvette has remained as it was from factory, all original apart from an exterior repaint in 2015.
